Virtual reality technology (VR) has a unique ability to immerse the viewer in experiences that can enrich learning environments in remarkable ways, with many describing the technology as an empathy machine and the new frontier of learning. This event will provide attendees the opportunity to learn about how we use this technology to drive education initiatives. Participants will be provided with three interactive experiences across different geographies and themes to explore the immersive qualities of VR technology first hand within a learning context. We will explore the potential of VR to foster curiosity in the classroom and its usefulness for gathering data about the mechanisms of curiosity and active learning in real-world settings.
