Event Description
This event will explore Jiyoung Wi's improvisatory and narrative practices, especially in her treatment of language and sound. She will share her latest work, "4’44”, a multilingual sonic fiction that explores memories of state and interpersonal violence and was published by Doyenne Books earlier this year. She will also perform and discuss how her improvisation practice intersects with her writing practice.
